ESIC  PGIMSR

(POST GRADUATE INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCE & RESEARCH)

                    The Employees State Insurance Corporation took a decision in 2008 to start undergraduate & Postgraduate teaching programmes in the hospitals under ESIC.


                Accordingly ESI-PGIMSR was established in 2009 at MGM Hospital with renovation, modernization, appointment of teaching faculty, specialists, super-specialists, senior residents and application to Medical Council of India & Maharashtra University of Health Science for approval to start Post graduate courses in Gen.Surgery, Anaesthesia, Pulmonary Medicine, Orthopedic, General Medicine, Padiatrics, Gynecology & Obstetrics.

                   Now approval for starting postgraduate courses with effect from 2011-2012 has been obtained from Medical Council of India, Board of Governors and Maharashtra University of Health Sciences  with which the institute is affiliated.
