Allotment of PG degree seats at ESI PGIMSR, MGM Hospital,Parel, Mumbai
As per the judgement passed by Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in (2003) 11 SCC 146 in Sourav Chaudhary case, the following pattern of seat allotment has been advocated (it is pending approval) -

Fee Structure for the P.G Degree Courses at ESI-PGIMSR
The fee structure approved by ESI Corporation is based on the lines of Central Government Medical Institutions with a view to attract the best talent.

As per the guidelines of the MCI, the PG students (Degree/Diploma) are to be designated as Junior Residents (teaching). They will be paid Junior residency pay as per Residency Scheme of Central Govt. and which has been adopted by the ESIC as per the 6th CPC.
Fee to be charged on annual basis is as follows -

The above fee structure will be reviewed from time to time and is subject to the following conditions -
- A bond to serve the scheme at least for a period of 5 years will be executed by each student at the time of admission. The cost of the entire course will be recovered if one ceases to be in corporation service before completion of Bond period.
- If a candidate is admitted beyond requirement of the scheme a separate fee structure will be applicable / determined keeping in view the total cost involved for the medical education. This is to ensure that medical education on the same lines as in Govt. Medical Colleges is available only to those who shall serve the scheme on completion of their studies. Separate fee structure for this purpose will be advised an a later date.
